Korean Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 6 pounds of Grass Fed Beef short Ribs
  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 cup of water
  • ¼ cup of rice vinegar or mirin (rice wine)
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 pear, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp of onion powder
  • 1 tbsp of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Place the beef in a large container. In a bowl whisk together the remaining ingredients for the marinade. 
  2. Pour the marinade over the ribs and let sit for up to 24 hours. 
  3. Heat the grill to medium-high heat for 10 minutes. Remove the ribs from the marinade and grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side. 
  4. Turn off the grill and let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
