Beef Liver

Ingredients: 

  • 2 pounds of Grass Fed Beef liver
  • 1 cup of Milk 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions: 

  1. Remove the liver from the packaging and pat dry with a paper towel on both sides. Place in a dish and cover in milk for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg and water together. 
  3. Remove the liver from the milk and pat dry with a paper towel on both sides. 
  4. Coat the liver lightly with flour, then dip the flour covered liver into the egg mixture and roll it in breadcrumbs. 
  5. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. 
  6. Cook the liver for 2-3 minutes per side.
